On Saturday, October 27, the Hell Run by Naturalis 2018 costume race, the mini-marathon of 4.2 km, will take place in the Botanical Garden for the third time. The run is dedicated to the celebration of All Saints Day or Halloween.

Each and everyone are invited to the race – children, adults, families. Participants are encouraged to display not only endurance and competitive spirit, but also some creativity. The main condition for all runners is the presence of a Halloween costume.

To make it easier for you to decide on a costume this year, let’s take a look at the best last year’s apparel.

Hell Run by Naturalis 2017 was rich in witches, zombies and skeletons, but the characters didn’t end there. Super-heroes were very popular. For example, the charming ninja turtles and their wise instructor rat Splinter had a very decent result in the race. Each of the heroes put on a mask, attributes and carried weapons with them. The Justice League characters, although in a reduced composition, were also present on the track — Superwoman and Wonder Woman. The two of them were accompanied by Spider Woman.

Especially squirm-inducing were the characters from famous Hollywood films: The Joker, the Ghost Rider and the clown from “It”. Becoming one of them is not difficult. So, to become the Joker, you only need to paint your face in white, underline your eyes with black shadows, and draw a bloody smile from ear to ear. Add a green wig to make it a 100% similarity with the character.

The Grim Reaper or just Dji is a regular participant in marathons. But since Dji considers himself a loser, he has been ticketed as the last place holder. The Paranormal Action Squad was joined by twin ghosts. The adorable things dressed in white were freaking awesome! Do you want to look the same this year? Take your friend and put on similar costumes. Just take care you make some holes for the eyes and mouth.

The witch is a classic character. Therefore, last year many such beauties could be seen around, to suit every taste. Damsels wearing pointed hats and carrying brooms, spiderwebs on their faces, dashed about the place. Among other evil spirits, Count Dracula was remarqued. The vampire could not do without his cloak with a high collar. This time his true face remained hidden under a mask.
