Hell Run by Naturalis 2018: 10 characters to get inspired from
Good news for all evil spirits! The single Halloween night race is held this year, too. 4.2 km of hilarious horrors, adrenaline, thrills and unexpected surprises await you!
Register for the Hell Run by Naturalis 2018 and come to the Botanical Gardens, October 27, 18:00. The race will start at 20:00. Everybody without exception are invited: both children and adults. Competitive spirit, the desire to scare other participants and a dreadful costume – all these are a must.
For children and their parents, who have no idea, which characters to dress up like this year, here is a list of the most wicked heroes and characters from cartoons and movies.
● Dracula (“Hotel Transylvania: Monsters on vacation” 2012) – the king of monsters. He is a vampire, which means that pale skin, red eyes, sharp fangs and a long cloak with a high collar are the main attributes of his look. Dracula doesn’t tolerate sunlight and the smell of garlic.

● Oogie Boogie (“The Nightmare Before Christmas” 1993) – a creepy character who looks very much like a large filled bag. His eyes are black holes, and his big mouth is always stretched in a smile. You can expect him to do anything, because he's a little crazy.

● Zombie (“ParaNorman” 2012) – maybe these characters are far from being the fastest, but what’s for sure, they can scare anyone. A slow walk, a deadly look, a bluish complexion, and a desire to harm someone — these are things a zombie can never do without. Want to become one of them? Then go paint some terrible scars on your face.

● Ghost (“Casper” 1995) – a bodiless and almost invisible creature that strives to do something nasty. The question is how to put on the costume of someone who is almost invisible? Just cover your character with a sheet, and definitely nobody will walk on by.

● Theodora, the Wicked Witch of the West (“Oz: The Great and Powerful” 2013) – she used to be a very sweet and kind girl, but the betrayal of her loved one and the evil lessons of her sister turned her into a classic witch: green skin, a long nose, a pointed hat, a gloomy outfit and a broomstick nearby.

● The Dead Bride (“Corpse Bride” 2005) – is a sad abandoned bride who was dead against her will. She was so upset and lost that she dragged an innocent guy into her world and almost made him her bridegroom. But she mended her ways, and everyone is happy now. Since she is not quite fresh, she is dressed in a pretty torn, soiled wedding dress and veil.

● Jack Skellington or Skeleton (“The Nightmare Before Christmas” 1993) – is thin and very tall, even for a skeleton. Jack is found guilty of having kidnapped Santa right before Christmas. He is always dressed in a black coat and tight pants. As befits the genre, empty eye sockets and a creepy smile are his landmark.

● Frankenstein (“Hotel Transylvania: Monsters on vacation” 2012) – though not wicked, but still scary. This character has a difficult fate, we could even say - complex. After all, he himself consists of different parts, and each of them has its own history. Frankenstein is not a dandy, that’s why he gets dressed in everything that turns up by chance. The only thing that is always there are his scars – sometimes smooth and sometimes not very smooth.

● Tutenstein (“Tutenstein: Clash of the Pharaohs” 2003-2008) – is a young mummy. The little pharaoh is always wrapped in bandages and nemes (a sort of headdress). Although, sometimes he would put on some ordinary clothes for conspiracy, but of course he wears them over the bandages. He always gets into trouble because of his capricious nature.

● Maleficent (“Sleeping Beauty” 1959) is an evil sorceress with real horns. She is so angry that she charmed an innocent princess just for not being invited to her christening. Her main and favorite outfit consists of a long black cloak that makes the heroine look like a giant bat. She always holds the staff in her hands, and among her servants is the black raven.
